This carrot cake is made from scratch with a spiced cake batter containing carrot, pumpkin, and pecans. It is iced and filled with cream cheese icing, garnished with pecans, and accented with buttercream carrot. This carrot cake does not have raisins in it, but it does have pecans baked into the cake batter!
Since its founding in 1959 as a small, 24-hour window-service bakery by Mildred and Lloyd Haydel, Haydel’s Bakery has since become a legendary New Orleans-area institution for its wide variety of scratchmade cakes, cookies, pastries, and more family-recipe NOLA-inspired treats – and its king cakes are a Mardi Gras tradition for countless locals. This package serves 12-14 people and includes 1 Carrot Cake
- Each cake measures 8" and weighs approx. 4 lbs.
- Cakes ship frozen with dry ice.
- Dry ice may dissipate in transit, product may thaw.
- Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
- Upon arrival, store cake at room temperature or in the refrigerator or freezer.
- Cake can last at room temperature & in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
