The Welle Made Co. is introducing food lovers like you to sublime hand pies that are inspired by Ghanaian culture and cuisine. Each pie is carefully hand-crafted, filled with fresh ingredients and robust flavors, and then baked until they are golden brown. Their pastries offer the perfect bite – flaky and buttery on the outside and delectable and juicy on the inside.

The Welle Made Co. is a celebration of two audacious people: Founder Rose Essiem's grandparents, Fatima and Abudu Beacher Welle. Together, they taught her about preserving culture and cultivating community, and embodied those values when bringing their local community together through food.

Food has always been at the center of Rose's life –– a tool to convene and to connect people and cultures. Just about every culture has a version of the hand pie, and she's delighted to share Ghana’s iconic version of this beloved food.
