Roasted Hatch Green Chiles - Medium

The Hatch Chile Store ships its famous Hatch chiles nationwide on Goldbelly! This New Mexico chile variety is a straight medium with little to no heat level variance. It is a slightly smaller version of The Hatch Chile Store’s Big Jim variety without the (sometimes) surprising heat level changes. The medium heat Hatch Green Chile also know as the NuMex Joe Parker is the perfect choice for the chile aficionados who want a little more heat than a milder variety, but still like some spice. Joe Parker chile is consistently between 5-8 inches long and make great rellenos. Each chile is roasted in the traditional New Mexican style then gently peeled by hand.

For more than five generations, The Hatch Chile Store has been growing the iconic Hatch chile, which is only grown in Hatch, New Mexico. Joseph Franzoy founded the farm in 1929 and it has since expanded, offering four Hatch green chile varieties and establishing Hatch, New Mexico, as the Chile Capital of the World.
