Potato Pancakes

These potato pancakes represent an ingenious Ukrainian use of some of the simplest ingredients. They are great as a side dish, served with some sour cream and applesauce!

Since opening in New York’s East Village in 1954, Veselka has become an institution serving up traditional Ukrainian food like pierogi, borscht, and goulash.
