Lexington Bourbon Cake with Fresh Ginger
Bourbon, elevated: We were enchanted with Lexington, Ky, the moment we arrived and, as soon as we returned to the bakery, created this gorgeous salute to that beautiful city in the middle of horse & bourbon country. This is a stunning gift and an extravagant dessert, packaged in a platinum tin, and it’s made with a good amount of top-shelf bourbon, fresh ginger, crystallized ginger, lemon & orange zest, and finished off with more bourbon in a honey glaze infused with ghost peppers. And then we glaze it again. Choose to have it arrive in a beautiful gift tin!
