In addition to Prantl’s Bakery’s Famous Burnt Almond and Chocolate Torte, they are now introducing their Raspberry Torte! The Raspberry Torte has the same light, airy cake as the original Torte, but adds a delightful raspberry filling. The Torte is covered with raspberry buttercream and topped with crunchy sweet toasted almonds!

Prantl’s Bakery has been churning out the goods using traditional German methods, but it’s Prantl’s Bakery’s Burnt Almond Torte that is one of Pittsburgh’s most legendary desserts. After a trip to California more than 50 years ago, founder Henry Prantl invented the legendary Burnt Almond Torte, which The Huffington Post called “The Best Cake America Has Ever Made.”
