This is the place where both the Philly Steak Sandwich and Cheese Steak were invented in 1930. Pat’s King of Steaks has been in business for over 92 years, still owned by the original family. You have a choice of American, Provolone, or the most famous Cheez Whiz. Made with the best imported rib eye, freshest onions and bread baked several times a day. If you cannot get to Philadelphia, let Philly come to you. Also included are four and a half pounds of fries!

Back in the 1930s, brothers Pat and Harry Oliveri opened a hot dog stand in South Philly. One day, as the legend goes, Pat slapped some thin-sliced beef and onions on a roll instead of a hot dog, and a legend was born. Cheese made its way into the sandwich shortly after, and today Pat’s is renowned as the home of one of the most famous, and best, cheesesteaks in Philadelphia.

  • Remove cheesesteaks from the packaging and place the sandwich on a cookie sheet lined with foil. Cover the top of the cheesesteaks with foil as well.
  • Bake for 10-14 minutes or until the bread is lightly crisped and the meat is heated through.
  • If the package includes cheese whiz, warm the whiz pouch in warm water or place in a microwaveable-safe bowl and microwave for 10 seconds or until warm. Whiz can also be reheated in a saucepan over medium low heat until warm. Drizzle over cheesesteaks and french fries or put in a cup for dipping.

  • Top fries with cheese whiz.

French Fries – Deep Fry

  • Preheat oil to 350 degrees.
  • Cook from frozen. Fill basket half full.
  • Fry for 3 min or to a light golden color. Do not overcook.
  • Shake basket frequently for best results.
