In 2009, Ariel Barbouth and his wife Leni arrived in NYC with a dream. What dream? To transform a staple of Argentinian culture – the empanada – into a gourmet meal so delicious, so convenient and so simple that the rest of the world would fall in love. Thus, Nuchas was born, bringing empanadas to the busy New Yorkers.

Empanada comes from the Spanish verb that translates to "wrapped in bread." So what is inside these magical bread pockets? Gourmet meals with spectacular flavors like Argentine Beef and Vegan Shiitake Curry, everyone is sure to find a favorite that they can't get enough of.
