Floral Decorated Pumpkin Cake

Who says pumpkin season can’t last all year long? This beautiful cake starts with three layers of moist pumpkin spice sponge cake. Between each layer is light, airy, and silky vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, which also coats the cake. Finally, the cake is hand-decorated with two peach roses and fluffy rusty coral peony!

In 2009, Miri Nadler launched a food blog called “Miri in the Village,” in which readers followed her journey of teaching herself how to bake and perfect her dessert recipes. In 2019, her New Year’s Resolution was to learn how to elaborately decorate cakes using a palette knife.
