All you need is a stock pot and a little water; they provide the rest, including crushers, bibs, and wet naps.
McLoons is a family-owned lobster shack located on a working lobster wharf in South Thomaston on Maine’s off-the-beaten-path Spruce Head Island. McLoons was named the best lobster roll in all of Maine! This sweet, fresh, and meaty lobster is plucked fresh from local waters, and it’s served in a signature half-and-half lobster roll (half butter, half mayo). It’s as authentic Maine as it gets!

This package serves 4 people and includes:
- 4 Lobsters (each 1 & 1/4 lb.)

- Mcloons’ lobsters are shipped with ice packs, which may thaw partially or fully during transit
- Lobsters and clams should be cooked on the day they are received, but can be stored in the fridge overnight in necessary, covered in seaweed.
- Brownies are best enjoyed on the day of arrival, but can be kept on the counter for up to 2 days.
To Serve
- Fill a large stock pot with 2” of water in the bottom
- Add the sea salt and ½ of the seaweed
- Cut the potatoes into ¼’s and place inside cheesecloth
- Bring the water to a boil over high heat, and then reduce to medium high heat.
- Add the potatoes, cover the pot and cook for 10 minutes
- Remove the rubber bands from the lobsters, and add with remaining seaweed
- Cover and continue cooking for additional 10 minutes
- Add clams and continue cooking for additional 5-10 minutes or until the clams have opened and the lobsters appear bright red.
- The antennae should pull away from the body easily.
- Remove contents (tongs work best) and plate as desired. Serve with lemon and melted butter!"
