Since 1985, the family-owned and operated Louisiana Crawfish Company has been shipping live crawfish from Natchitoches, Louisiana, across the US. What started as a hobby for David McGraw quickly grew into a successful seafood company, sending live Cajun crawfish from the family farm cross country, so crawfish lovers can get an authentic taste of Louisiana’s bayous.

This package serves 24 people and includes:

  • 1 Comeaux’s Pork Boudin
  • 1 Comeaux’s Crawfish Boudin
  • 1 Comeaux’s Alligator Boudin
  • Each boudin weighs approx. 1 lb. and measures 7″ × 5″ × 1.5″
  • Items ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit
  • Upon arrival, store items in the freezer until ready to cook
  • Boudin can be stored in the freezer for up to 6 months

To Serve

  • Thaw boudin in the refrigerator before cooking. Boudin can be safely stored for 3-4 days in the refrigerator after thawing.
  • When ready to cook, do not puncture skin.

Cooking in the Microwave

  • Wrap 1 link in a wet paper towel, or plastic wrap.
  • Heat for 1 minute on high, or until the boudin becomes spongy when squeezed.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Cooking in Steam or Water Heating

  • Fill pot with enough water to cover boudin. (Use tap water for frozen boudin.)
  • Heat on high until steam forms on surface of water.
  • Lower heat and maintain temperature until boudin floats or becomes spongy.
  • Remove from water and allow moderate cooling before cutting.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Cooking in BBQ Pit

  • Use foil and baste with favorite BBQ Sauce (although not needed).
