James Beard nominated for best bakery for their sister business Fan Fan Doughnuts, Chef Fany Gerson brings back her Chocolate Covered Matzah Box, inspired by her roots in Mexico, her Jewish heritage, and the celebration of the flavors of the world. This box includes crispy caramelized chocolate-covered matzah that has been dusted with Mexican chocolate with a little taste of sea salt, white chocolate matzah with freeze-dried raspberry and sprinkled with hibiscus powder, deep and rich milk and dark chocolate matzah with home-made all natural sprinkles, and sweet and bright passion fruit white chocolate-covered matzah. Perfect way to end your family celebration!

Founded by Fany Gerson in 2010 in Brooklyn, New York, La Newyorkina celebrates Mexican sweets. Gerson was inspired after a trip to her native Mexico, where she rediscovered Mexican desserts. After the trip, she began making paletas (Mexican popsicles) in small batches with the best possible ingredients from both New York and Mexico, Today, La Newyorkina makes a wide range of sweet Mexican treats, including cheesecakes, ice cream, and traditional panadería-style baked goods.
