Grady's Cold Brew
New Orleans-Style Cold Brew With a Twist
Grady’s was founded in 2011 by Grady Laird, who was working as a production editor for GQ at the time. His New Orleans-style cold brew coffee, brewed with a hint of chicory just like in the Big Easy, proved to be such a hit among colleagues that he quit his day job, devoted himself to brewing full-time and gained even more fans at Brooklyn’s weekly Smorgasburg food fair.
Grady’s signature cold brew is smooth and creamy, with notes of chocolate and caramel and extra depth of flavor from the addition of a secret blend of spices and a 20-hour brew time. It’s become so popular that the company recently moved into a 15,000 square foot facility in The Bronx, where all the coffee is brewed in-house, under the careful supervision of Grady and his team.
