20 Tacos (with some tortillas leftover to dip in queso):

- 30 Tortillas, your choice of flour or corn

- Carne Asada – Our most popular taco at Johnny Sanchez, USDA Choice Skirt Steak is tenderly marinated in a mixture of roasted garlic and Mexican Oregano, then seared over our flaming hot grill. This is guaranteed to be the hit of your next party!
- Chicken – Juicy all-natural dark meat chicken is marinated in roasted chipotles, garlic, and our house Adobo blend. Grilled to perfection our chicken will blow away the dried-out chicken you are used to!
- Albondigas (Meatballs) – Based on Aaron’s grandmother’s Albondigas recipe, these all-beef meatballs kick up the traditional recipe with a Mexican flair! A winner at New Orleans’ Top Taco competition this has become the heart of the menu at Johnny Sanchez!
- Carnitas (Pork) – Our version of the Michoacan staple, Pork shoulder is slow-cooked in its own fat, fried crispy, and gently tossed in a zesty fire-roasted salsa with local Lousianna citrus. Our Carnitas will leave your mouth watering as you pile them on a warm tortilla!

- Johnny Sanchez Habo Love Hot Sauce (5 oz.) – This signature Johnny Sanchez hot sauce is used to marinate meat and add flavor to almost any recipe. They call it “Habo Love” because it really does feel like adding some love with a kick to a dish. Particularly when making tacos or slow roasting meats and vegetables, this adds heat and tons of flavor.
- Aaron Sanchez Adobo Spice Jar (4 oz.) – Aaron Sanchez’ signature adobo spice seasoning blend is the perfect addition to your home seasoning rack
- This package ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit
- Upon arrival, place taco kit, queso, and margarita mix in the fridge
- Taco kit, margarita mix, and queso will last 1-2 hours at room temperature, 5-6 days in the fridge, or up to 1 month frozen
To Serve
Tortillas
- On a griddle or saute pan, over medium-high heat, warm the tortillas on both sides for 10-20 seconds until hot.
- This can be done ahead of time by stacking warm tortillas and wrapping in a kitchen towel to preserve heat!
Carne Asada
- Place frozen vacuum – sealed package(s) in the refrigerator to thaw for at least 24 hours prior to reheating.
- In a saute pan over medium-high heat, sear for 2-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until hot
Chicken + Carnitas
- In the Pouch
- Drop the sealed pouch into boiling hot water for 5-7 minutes
- In a Pan
- Saute for 2-4 minutes over medium-high heat
Albondigas
- Drop the pouch into boiling hot water for 5-7 minutes.
or - Empty all contents of package, including sauce, into a saucepan with a lid with 2 tablespoons of water.
- Cook over medium-low heat for 8-10 min.
Queso
- Drop bag into simmering water for 10-15 minutes
or - Make sure product is thawed before preparing.
- Cut corner of the bag and squeeze queso into a microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave for 1-1:30 min.
- Carefully remove, stir, and replace back into the microwave for an additional 30-40 seconds or until completely melted and smooth.
Queso Fundido
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Remove plastic from packaging and place the pan directly into the oven
- Bake for 12-16 minutes or until golden on top and melty throughout
- Best served “taco style” with warm corn or flour tortillas!
Margarita
- Add one part johnny Sanchez margarita mix to one part of preferred tequila in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake well and serve immediately over a salt rim glass and garnish with a slice of lime.
