Chef Aarón Sánchez

Aarón Sánchez is an award-winning chef, TV personality, author and philanthropist. He is a Food Network Star, a judge on FOX’s culinary competition series MasterChef and MasterChef Junior, and the founder of the Aarón Sánchez Impact Fund, a nonprofit program whose mission is to uplift the lives of Latino youth through food. Aarón grew up in the restaurant business and is passionate about preserving his family’s legacy through food and encouraging diversity in the kitchen.

Sánchez opened Johnny Sanchez in New Orleans’ Central Business District in 2014, and it immediately racked up heaps of praise and has been packed since day one. Johnny Sánchez is a stylish hotspot for street-style tacos and other traditional Mexican fare made with locally-sourced ingredients.
