What started in 2012 with a bag of flour and an Airstream food truck is today one of America’s most beloved family-owned restaurants, with lines of biscuit lovers snaking out the door and around the corner on a daily basis. Founded by the husband-and-wife duo of Karl and Sarah Worley (both Johnson & Wales culinary school grads) with just three items on the menu, Biscuit Love opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Nashville’s The Gulch neighborhood in 2015, and that year it was named one of America’s 50 Best New Restaurants by Bon Appétit. Two more locations soon followed, with more in the works.

- Jams are hot filled (around 180-210 degrees) into glass jars with a special liner in the lid called plastisol. The heat of the jam allows the edge/lip of the jar to mold into the plastisol and form a seal. There are no buttons on the lid top, so do not expect a ‘pop’ sound.
- 1 pouch Hot Chocolate Mix with Candy Cane Marshmallows – Enjoy the holidays with a cozy cup of hot cocoa. Add some festive flair with these pillowy vanilla bean marshmallows rolled in crushed candy canes! Peppermint Hot Cocoa is a gift for the tastebuds!
- Serves 4 people and includes 1 Hot Chocolate Mix with a bag of 9 Candy Cane Marshmallows (2 per drink and 1 for tasting)
- Biscuit Love Mother’s Day Box ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
- Store Biscuits and Rolls in the freezer for up to 1 month. Do not thaw.
- Store Gravy in the freezer for up to 1 month. Thaw in refrigerator overnight.
- Store Jams at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Refrigerate after opening.
- Store Sticky Bun Sauce and Cream Cheese Icing in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- Store Granola, Coffee, and Seasonings in a cool, dry place.
- If biscuits or cinnamon rolls arrive partially thawed, NO WORRIES! Simply place in freezer to harden fully prior to following the baking directions below. For best results, re-freeze biscuits in a single layer to keep the frozen biscuits from sticking together.
To Serve
Biscuits
- Preheat oven to 350*F.
- Place frozen biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet on the center rack. Bake for 45 minutes.
- Check for doneness by lifting the middle layers. If not fully cooked, bake for additional time in 5-minute increments.
- Carefully remove baking sheet from oven and allow biscuits to cool slightly.
- Top with butter, jam, or sausage gravy.
- Enjoy while warm!
Add On’s
Sausage Gravy
- The night before you plan to enjoy it, defrost the Sausage Gravy by moving the pouch from the freezer to the refrigerator.
- When ready to serve, cut the top of the sealed bag and empty the contents into a medium saucepan.
- Over medium heat and with constant stirring, bring the gravy to a low simmer.
- Once hot, remove from heat and serve.
- Please note: The Sausage Gravy is fully cooked and only needs to be warmed to your desired serving temperature.
Biscuit Cinnamon Rolls
- Preheat oven to 350*F.
- Place provided parchment pan with frozen B-rolls on a baking sheet on the center rack. Bake for 45 minutes.
- Check for doneness by lifting center with a fork. If not fully cooked, bake for additional time in 5-minute increments.
- Carefully remove pan from oven and turn upside down on baking sheet. (This allows the ooey-gooey goodness to coat your B-Roll!) Allow to cool slightly.
- Top with included icing and sticky bun sauce.
- Enjoy while warm!
Housemade Chai Mix
- Bring 12 cups of water to a simmer.
- Add 1lb of brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Add pouch contents and steep overnight.
- Strain and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
- To serve, add 2 parts chai concentrate to 1 part half-and-half or milk of choice. Steam or serve over ice.
Gravy Baby Seasoning
- In a 10" skillet, add 1½ tbsp. of seasoning to 1 lb of ground pork.
- Crumble seasoned pork in skillet over medium heat until cooked through.
- Add ⅓ cup all-purpose flour & cook for 4 mins.
- Add 3 cups half-and-half & bring to a simmer for 3 minutes or until desired consistency is reached. Stir often. Gravy will continue to thicken as it cools.
- Serve over fresh biscuits.
Hot Chocolate
- For a classic Hot Coca, combine 2 tablespoons of mix with 12 oz. of hot water or desired dairy product.
- For the Chocoholic version, add an additional tablespoon of mix!
- Top each mug of hot cocoa with 2 marshmallows. (There is an extra marshmallow included for the drink-maker to enjoy!)
