Diane and Pierre Bagur, second generation New Orleanians of French Creole descent, opened a shop that sold a host of NOLA delicacies, including pralines, in New Orleans’ historic French Quarter in the early 1930’s. Aunt Sally’s Creole Pralines are made the old-fashioned way: Louisiana pecans, cane syrup, milk, fresh butter, and vanilla are cooked in copper pots over an open flame, and then the buttery pralines that The New York Times calls “disks of pure joy” are poured by hand over marble slabs to cool.

- Cafe Du Monde Beignet Mix (28 oz.)
- Cafe Du Monde Coffee & Chicory (425g)
- 4 Assorted Creamy Pralines (each 1.5 oz.)
- Arrived in a decorative box and individually wrapped to ensure freshness.
- Each praline is approximately 3" in diameter.

- Store in a cool dry place for 6-8 months.
To Serve
Beignet Mix
- In bowl 2 cups mix and blend 7 fl oz water. Stir with spoon until blended.
- Roll to 1/8" thickness on a floured surface, using flour liberally on dough.
- Cut into 2 1/4" squares. Makes about 2 dozen.
- Fry in an inch or two of oil at 370 F basting continually on each side until puffy and light golden. Drain well. (oil should be hot enough for dough to pop to surface in 8-10 seconds.) Electric skillet works best. Enjoy while hot.
- Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar.
- Serve with a cup of Cafe du Monde Cafe au Lait.
