Johnny Cace’s Seafood and Steak House opened in Longview, Texas, in 1949 as the first fine dining restaurant in the region, and over the years it became a beloved local institution for its wide variety of scratchmade Cajun classics. Johnny passed the restaurant down to his son Gerard, who in turn passed it to his wife Cathy, who ran it with their daughter Chelsea until it unfortunately closed its doors in 2015. But that wasn’t the end of the story: the Cace’s family recipes were so beloved that, at the urging of longtime regulars, Cathy and Chelsea opened Cace’s Kitchen in 2017, serving the restaurant’s greatest hits in a grab-and-go format.

From crawfish etouffee and shrimp gumbo to crab-stuffed shrimp and their famous garlic croutons topped with sharp cheddar cheese spread, these beloved New Orleans-style dishes have earned generations of fans over the years, and now they’re shipping nationwide!
