Colts Chocolate

Colts Chocolate Company was founded in 1984 by Memphis-born Mackenzie Colt, a former “Hee Haw Girl” on the CBS variety show Hee Haw with Buck Owens. She began experimenting with cooking at age 15, so after leaving the show she decided to go into the candy-making business, and in 1984 Colts Chocolate Co. was born. Nowadays, Colts is one of Nashville’s oldest and most renowned chocolate shops.

From her best-selling Colt’s Bolts (creamy peanut butter mousse topped with a roasted almond and covered in chocolate) to buttery Southern chess pie and Broadway Grahams (chocolate covered graham cracker crust), all of Colt’s sweet treats are made with the highest-quality ingredients. It’s a true taste of Music City!
