This incredible ham starts with the brining process. Dark brown sugar and kosher salt is the base along with allspice and cloves, celery and bay leaves for a traditional brine of 48 hours. They then score the tops of the hams and sprinkle with kosher salt before firing up the pecan wood-burning pits for that low and slow all-night cooking process that their family has enjoyed for decades. They also include their housemade super sticky honey ham glaze which is the perfect fit for such a decadent traditional Ham. These hams average 5-6 lbs and includes a nice portion of Ham Glaze. - Ham ship smoked & frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
- Upon arrival, store ham in the refrigerator or freezer.
- Ham lasts up to 5 days in the refrigerator or up to 2 months in the freezer.
- Hams should be fully thawed and at room temperature before heating.
- Refrigerate turkey and enjoy within 5 days, or store in your freezer in its original packaging for up to 3 months.
- Turkeys should be fully thawed before heating.
Heating Instructions:
- Let your defrosted ham reach room temperature before heating.
- Preheat your oven to 250° F.
- Remove thawed ham from bag and place in a shallow roasting pan, cover loosely with foil
- Place in the oven and heat until internal temp reaches 165° F.
- Remember you are heating the meat, not re-cooking it
- Remove from oven when ready, let sit for 15 to 30 minutes, and pour 1/2 glaze on top before slicing.
- Slice ham to your desired thickness and use the reserved glaze to pour over the slices.

Turkey – Oven (Add On)
- Place sliced turkey in an oven safe pan or foil pouch.
- Add 1-2 tsp water, and cover tightly with foil or a lid.
- Reheat at 300℉ until an internal temperature of 165℉ is reached.
- Serve and enjoy!
Turkey – Stovetop (Add On)
- Place 1-2 teaspoon water and 1/2 tablespoon of butter in a pan.
- Place slices in the pan and heat until an internal temperature of 165℉ is reached, flipping occasionally.
- Serve and enjoy!
Microwave NOT RECOMMENDED as it tends to dry out the juicy Turkey!
