When You Receive Your Box

Upon arrival: Place all items in the refrigerator until ready to serve, except for the Macaroons and Challah which can stay at room temperature

Required Pre-Class Prep

1 Hour Before Class

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  • Remove the brisket, salads, and spreads from the refrigerator and allow them to come to room temperature.

  • Gather all ingredients & kitchen equipment.

Make the Matzo Balls

  1. Combine eggs & schmaltz in a medium bowl and stir until blended

  2. Add the matzo meal, baking powder, and cinnamon and mix well

  3. Using wet hands, tear off golf ball-sized pieces of the dough and shape into rounds.

  4. Bring a lightly salted pot of water to a boil and cook the matzo balls for 30 minutes or until cooked through (cut one open to be sure).

Bake the Potato Kugel

  1. Remove the lid from the kugel and re-cover with aluminum foil

  2. Place in the oven for approximately 50-60 minutes or until heated.
