Willamette Valley Pie Company was founded in 1999 by the Roth family, who for three generations have been locally growing strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries, blueberries, blackberries, cranberries, and of course - the crowning glory of the Oregon berry world, the Marionberry.
Named after Marion county and grown exclusively in the Beaver State, Marionberries are a cross between the Chehalem and Olallieberry blackberry and have the rich, earthy juiciness of a Cabernet grape. Throw these sweet, juicy babies into a pie using original family recipes and all-natural ingredients and you’ve got all the reasons why WVPC has the renowned distinction of making pies “as good as grandma’s.”
