Wanderlust Creamery is one of the LA area’s hottest ice cream shops, with good reason: There’s nothing else like it. A true mom & pop shop, it was founded in 2015 by Adrienne Borlongan and Jon-Patrick Lopez, and each of their ice creams are inspired by childhood memories, the places they’ve been, and the places they want to go. Borlongan studied food science and spent years developing her palate as an acclaimed mixologist before turning her attention to ice cream, with winning results: There’s currently seven popular locations with more in the works as well as a best-selling cookbook published in 2014.
