Tucson Tamales are handmade with a wide array of fillings like Hatch green chiles, Santa Cruz red chile, and breakfast sausage. Tucson Tamale has been featured on Alton Brown’s “Road Show.”

- Each tamale measures 2.5″ × 6″ × 1.5″ and weighs 5 oz.

- Tamales ship frozen with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
- Upon arrival remove from box and put in freezer or refrigerator.
- May be kept refrigerated for 2 weeks or frozen for 1 year.
- Do not refreeze.
To Serve
From Frozen – Microwave
- Microwave in wrapper for 2 ½ minutes or until the tamale reaches an internal temperature of 165℉.
- Let it sit for one minute.
- Unwrap corn husk and enjoy!
From Frozen – Steam
- Place tamales in a stovetop steamer with the open end up. It will take approx. 30 mins to steam. If you have more room in your steamer than there are tamales, try filling the void with some slightly crumpled aluminum foil.
- Unwrap corn husk and enjoy!
From Refrigerated – Microwave
- Microwave in wrapper for 2 minutes or until the tamale reaches an internal temperature of 165℉.
- Let it sit for one minute.
- Unwrap corn husk and enjoy!
From Refrigerated – Steam
- Place tamales in a stovetop steamer with the open end up. It will take approx. 20 mins to steam. If you have more room in your steamer than there are tamales, try filling the void with some slightly crumpled aluminum foil.
- Unwrap corn husk and enjoy!
