These hickory-smoked artisan carving hams are fully cooked and packed in their natural juices. They come from John F. Martin and Sons, a fourth-generation family-run business, in Lancaster, PA. These hams are smoked slowly, with plenty of hickory wood flavor shining through, and are perfect for any meal of the day.

Located inside Philly’s famed Reading Terminal Market since 1983, family owned-and-operated The Original Turkey was founded by Roger Bassett, who can still be found at the market, roasting over 40 turkeys every day and carving them by hand. These are some of the most pampered turkeys on earth. High-quality turkey breasts are brined and coated in a signature herb rub before being “steam roasted” to tender, juicy perfection. And don’t even get us started on the ham!

This package serves up to 6-8 people and includes

  • This package ships with ice packs which may thaw in transit.
  • Upon arrival, remove food packages from the box and place them in the refrigerator immediately.
  • Items may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • If items arrive frozen, thaw before cooking.
  • If you don’t plan to eat within 5 days of arrival, place items in the freezer. Thaw in the refrigerator for 2-3 days before eating.

To Serve
Keep food refrigerated until ready to heat!

Smoked Ham

  • Preheat oven to 325°F.
  • Remove from Vacuum Seal. Put Ham in a roasting pan, add ½ cup of water or chicken broth to the bottom of the pan, and cover with foil.
  • Reheat for approximately 45 minutes or until the middle part of the breast reaches 165°F.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Macaroni & Cheese

  • Preheat oven to 325°F.
  • Transfer to an oven-safe dish.
  • Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Cook in a preheated oven for 45 minutes or to an internal temperature of 150°F.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Green Beans

  • Remove from vacuum seal, put in a microwave-safe dish, and cover loosely.
  • Heat on high for 5 minutes. (This may vary by microwave.)
  • Remove the cover and stir well. Re-cover loosely and heat on high for an additional 2 minutes or to an internal temperature of 150°F.
  • Carefully remove from microwave (Caution—the container will be HOT!) and let stand for 2 minutes.
  • Carefully remove cover, stir, and serve immediately.
  • Enjoy!

Cornbread

  • They can be eaten right out of the package but we recommend toasting either in a toaster oven for a few minutes or in the same oven as your other items for the last 5 minutes of cooking just to warm up a little.

Whole Boneless Turkey Breast

  • DO NOT microwave.
  • Preheat oven to 325°F.
  • Remove from vacuum seal. Put Turkey Breast in a roasting pan, add ½ cup of water or chicken broth to the bottom of the pan, and cover with foil.
  • Reheat for approximately 1-1.5 hours or until the middle part of the breast reaches 140°F.
  • Remove from oven and let sit 15 minutes before slicing.
  • Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Homestyle Bread Stuffing

  • Preheat oven to 325°F.
  • Transfer to an oven-safe dish.
  • Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Cook in a preheated oven for 45 minutes or to an internal temperature of 150°F.

Mashed Potatoes

  • Remove from vacuum seal, put in a microwave-safe dish, and cover loosely.
  • Heat on high for 5 minutes. (This may vary by microwave.)
  • Remove the cover and stir well. (If potatoes are too thick, add a little milk or ½ and ½ and stir.) Re-cover loosely and heat on high for an additional 2 minutes or to an internal temperature of 150°F.
  • Carefully remove from microwave (Caution—the container will be HOT!) and let stand for 2 minutes.
  • Carefully remove cover, stir, and serve immediately.
  • The potatoes may appear a little watery at first but that is just the milk separating from the potatoes while they have been refrigerated. They will thicken up as they are reheated.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Gravy

  • Remove from vacuum seal, put in a microwave-safe dish, and cover loosely.
  • Heat on high for 5 minutes. (This may vary by microwave.)
  • Remove and stir well. If it is not at the desired temperature. Recover and heat for an additional 2 minutes or to a temperature of 150°F.
  • Serve and enjoy!
