You have the opportunity to build your own dish by choosing the sauce and the condiment of your choice. Sauces include Kale and Genovese Basil Pesto with Roasted Pine Nuts, Mushroom Ragu, Pepperoni Bolognese, and Arrabbiata, a Calabrian chili spiked tomato ragu. Lastly choose your condiments to finish the dish, we offer fresh grated Parmigiano Reggiano, Cashew Parmesan, and Brown Butter Crumb. You can add as many sauces and condiments to your order as you would like and mixing and matching is encouraged.

Chef Bryan Voltaggio is one of the most recognized and well-respected chefs in America these days, thanks in no small part to being named runner-up in three seasons of “Top Chef.” But he’s much more than just a celebrity chef: he trained under the renowned Charlie Palmer, and his fine dining restaurant, Volt, opened in 2008 and earned him a James Beard Award nomination for Best Chef Mid-Atlantic. Voltaggio and his team are using simple, seasonal ingredients to craft a menu of familiar favorites prepared with the deft hand and skillful approach of a fine dining master.

  • Items ship fresh with ice packs, may thaw during transit.
  • Upon arrival, store items in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
  • Items may be stored for up to 4 days in the refrigerator or up to 2 weeks in the freezer.

To Serve

Pasta Dinner

  • In a large sauce pot, bring a gallon of water to boil with a 2 tablespoons of kosher salt for each pound of pasta to cook.
  • Cook the pasta while maintaining a strong simmer, not a rapid boil. Cook the pasta for at least 5-6 minutes (fresh pasta takes less time then dried) however as fresh pasta is store it loses moisture and will possibly take an additional minute or so to cook, check one piece after 5 minutes and test for doneness, strain using a colander, but reserve some of the pasta water to finish the sauce.
  • Heat sauce into a large saute pan or wide bottom sauce pot and heat on medium until the sauce begins to simmer (if using the pesto, be sure to keep on lower heat).
  • Add pasta to the sauce pan and add some of the reserved pasta water (2-3 tablespoons) and cook for 1-2 minutes stirring the pasta and adding some whole butter or finishing olive oil if you desire.
  • Divide the pasta into your serving dishes and garnish with the condiments of your choice.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Cookies – Add On

  • Preheat oven or toaster oven to 300°F.
  • Bake for 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Cocktail Kit – Add On

  • Measure 1.5 oz of cocktail mixer into a glass with ice.
  • Add 1.5 oz of your favorite spirit.
  • Top with tonic or ginger beer and garnish with lemon wheel & cinnamon stick or lime wheel.
  • Serve and enjoy!
