- Tortillas last up to 6-8 hours in the refrigerator or freezer (please note that tortillas have a short time span because they are pre-cooked).
- Beans, cheese, salsa, onion, cilantro, and pineapple can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
To Serve
Casero Taco Kit
- Sirloin Steak
- If frozen, thaw in the refrigerator 3-4 hours max before following reheating instructions.
- Place bag inside the microwave.
- Heat for 3 minutes or until heated through.
- Rice
- If frozen, thaw in the refrigerator 3-4 hours max before following reheating instructions.
- Do a small one-inch cut on the top of the sealed bag before placing it in the microwave.
- Place in microwave and heat for 2 minutes or until heated through.
- Beans
- Place the sealed bag inside the microwave.
- Heat for 2 minutes or until heated through.
- Flour Tortilla
- Preheat a nonstick skillet or comal to medium heat.
- Place a tortilla on the skillet and turn as soon as you see bubbles rise up (30-50 seconds).
- Cook on the second side (30-50 seconds).
- Flip back to the first side again and finish cooking completely.
- Assemble
- Spread refried beans onto your tortilla.
- Add the sirloin.
