Tucked away in a tiny, charming Wisconsin village on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, Stockholm Pie & General Store is making pies from scratch, by hand, that taste just like they’re supposed to. Stockholm Pie was founded by Janet Nugent Garretson, her brother Alan, and brother-in-law Steve in 2008, but it might as well have been founded in 1908: The crust recipe was taught to Janet by a friend in rural Kansas many years ago, and these pies would have tasted familiar to your great-grandma.

At Stockholm Pie, every crust is crafted one batch at a time, by hand, and all the simple, wholesome ingredients – from fresh fruit to real cream and whole eggs – are the highest quality possible.
