Rice to Riches

There’s no shortage of our favorite childhood comfort foods now being revamped into grown-up, artisanal versions, but there’s one in particular we were pleasantly surprised to discover: rice pudding. Not the bland, blobbish kind you begrudgingly pushed around your bowl at grandma’s, of course. We’re talking ‘bout the rice pudding made by the quirky folks at Rice to Riches in NYC, who use premium ingredients (like firm-grained sushi rice), a dash of flair, and plenty of seemingly endless creativity. The result? A thick, ultra creamy and rich dessert with inventive flavors like “Fluent in French Toast,” “Category 5 Caramel,” and house-favorite: “Sex, Drugs, and Rocky Road.”

We’re stuck on these like white on rice.
