Chicago's Landmark Deli & Cafeteria Since 1942
Manny's Deli, a Chicago institution since it first opened its doors in 1942, is one of those places that just doesn't really exist any more. Not only is it a classic Jewish deli, specializing in old-school noshes like stuffed cabbage, noodle kugel, and knishes (not to mention incredible corned beef and pastrami); it's also all served up cafeteria style: grab a tray, move on down the line, and load up.
The always-bustling Manny's hasn't changed much at all since Manny Raskin opened it up during World War II, and their recipes have remained the same, as well. It's a true taste of history at the edge of the Loop, called "one of Chicago’s grandest eating experiences" by the Chicago Tribune.
