Loro Asian Smokehouse & Bar

In 2018, two of Austin’s most renowned and beloved chefs, Tyson Cole and Aaron Franklin, decided to join forces and open Loro Smokehouse & Bar in Austin, Texas. With their award-winning gastronomic powers combined, they created a culinary experience that captured the hearts, minds (and bellies) of devoted fans.

At Loro, Southern barbecue meets Far East flavor. Chopped brisket sandwiches are topped with tangy papaya salad, Duroc pork ribs are rubbed down with red curry paste and served with tamarind pineapple BBQ sauce, and whole smoked pork shoulders are wrapped in lettuce with a slew of toppings and condiments for the ultimate Bo Ssam experience.
