Fortunato Bros. Cafe & Pasticceria was founded in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood in 1976 by three recent immigrants from Naples, Italy. They brought over their classic old-world recipes for Italian baked goods, and the bakery quickly became a beloved neighborhood fixture. The brothers can still be found at the shop today, and they’ve handed the reins to their children to bring their legacy into the future. Everything at Fortunato’s baked goods is still made according to the original recipes, made by hand from scratch with only the highest-quality ingredients.

- Upon arrival, store cake in the refrigerator or freezer.
- Cake may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
- Cannoli cream and Lobster tails ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit.
- Cannoli shells ship fresh.
- Upon arrival, store cannoli cream in the refrigerator and store shells at room temperature.
- Cannoli cream may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Cannoli shells may be stored at room temperature for up to 1 week.
- Lobster tails may be stored in the freezer for up to 6 months.
To Serve
Cannoli
- Cut the tip off your pastry bag and fill the cannoli shells from either end.
- Serve and enjoy!
Lobster Tail
- Lobster tails are fully cooked and may be enjoyed one of two ways; thawed in the refrigerator or at room temperature for about 1 hour (time may vary).
- Bavarian cream must be thawed in the refrigerator ONLY, for about 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- When fully thawed, bake lobster tails for no more than 5 minutes (until crisp), or simply enjoyed at room temperature. If crisping in the oven, do not fill with cream until they are done.
- To fill with Bavarian cream, snip the pointy end of the pastry bag.
- Pierce two holes underneath the Lobster Tails (one towards the top and one towards the bottom).
- Insert the cream into the two piercings.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired (not included).
- Serve and enjoy!
