Chef Ming Tsai
Asian Classics From a Culinary Icon
We donāt toss around the term āOGā lightly, but Ming Tsai definitely fits the bill! The chef, restaurateur, and TV host first introduced us to his unique style of East-meets-West cooking back in 1998, as host of the fittingly-titled Food Network show āEast Meets West.ā That year, he also opened his first restaurant, Blue Ginger, in Wellesley, Massachusetts, which was a James Beard Award nominee for Best New Restaurant. Since then, Tsai has gone on to host PBSā Emmy-winning, long-running āSimply Ming,ā heās published five cookbooks, his Boston gastropub Blue Dragon was named one of Esquireās Best New Restaurants, and ā oh, yeah ā he picked up a James Beard Award for Best Chef: Northeast!
But Mingās not the type to rest on his laurels. He launched MingsBings, a line of veggie-filled vegan & gluten-free patties, in 2020, and heās an active supporter of many charities including Family Reach, which provides financial relief and support to families fighting cancer. And now, for the first time, Chef Ming Tsaiās greatest culinary hits, including Red Roast Duck Potstickers, Chicken Chow Mein, and Lobster & Pork Fried Rice, are being delivered nationwide!
