By working with a family-owned sausage purveyor who has been using the same traditional European techniques for generations, Brooklyn Piggies is the retro cocktail treat that never goes out of style.

Launched in 2012, Brooklyn Piggies has perfected the art of Pigs in a Blanket. Brooklyn Piggies was founded after owners Missy Koo and Stacy Cole set out to make a preservative-free version of Missy’s mother’s signature party hors d’oeuvre. The classic finger food is made with beef and pork smoked hot dogs made by a family-owned sausage purveyor and then hand rolled in light, flaky puff pastry. Brooklyn Piggies was featured in The New York Times, Time Out NY and Eater. Oprah named them one of her Favorite Things, and Zagat called them “The Best Thing We Ate Last Night” as well as “One of NYC’s 8 Must Try Hot Dogs.”

This package serves 8-12 people and includes 2 trays of Spicy Pigs in a Blanket

  • Each tray serves 4-6 people and includes 12 pcs.
  • Orders have a 2 tray minimum
  • Piggies can be kept in the freezer for 1 year from date posted on product packaging.
  • Pigs in a blanket can be thawed in advance to reduce baking time. Thaw in refrigerator up to 4 hours before baking.

To Serve

  • Pre-heat oven to 425° F.
  • Remove pigs in a blanket from tray and place seam side down and 1” apart on a baking sheet coated with no-stick cooking spray.
  • Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown (cooking time may vary slightly depending on oven).
  • Check that pigs in a blanket are baked thoroughly. Internal temperature needs to reach 165° F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots.
