Few New York restaurateurs are more renowned than Bruce and Eric Bromberg, who opened their first restaurant, SoHo’s Blue Ribbon, in 1992. The casual brasserie became an immediate hit and celeb hangout, and since then they’ve opened more than 20 bars and restaurants nationwide, including South Beach and Las Vegas locations, and have earned multiple James Beard Award nominations. Its most legendary dish is its fried chicken: high-quality chicken, dredged in a proprietary spice blend before being dunked in egg whites, coated in matzo meal crumbs, and fried to super-crispy-crunchy perfection.

To Serve
Chicken
- If frozen, thaw in the refrigerator overnight
- Heat oven to 425 F.
- Place the Breast & Thigh on a baking dish and place in the oven for 10 minutes, add the Wings and Drumsticks and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and sprinkle generously with the “Blue Ribbon Chicken Spice” on all sides.
- Enjoy!
Steak
- Take the steak out of the refrigerator at least 30 – 40 minutes before grilling to allow to come to room temperature.
- Pat the steak dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Rub both sides lightly with oil to prevent sticking
- Season liberally with Blue Ribbon Perfect Roast (included).
- Preheat your grill to high heat (450°- 500°F).
- Place the steak on the hot grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Flip the steak only once to prevent overcooking.
- At this point you can move the steak to a cooler part of the grill to continue cooking to reach desired temperature
- Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.
- Rare 120° – 125°
- Medium rare 130° – 135°
- Medium 140° – 145°
- Medium well 150° – 155°
- Remove the steak when it is about 5 degrees below your desired temperature, as it will continue cooking while resting
- Let the steak rest for 5 – 10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, resulting in a more tender and flavorful bite.
- Slice the steak against the grain and serve immediately.
Mac & Cheese
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Place container on a sheet pan & loosen the paper top slightly from the pan so that it is easier to remove at the end of cooking.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes with the provided cover, or until heated through.
- Remove cover and stir with a spoon, if it seems dry add a touch of milk or cream
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top.
- Return the dish to the oven uncovered.
- Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and crispy.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve and enjoy!
Wagyu Hot Dog
- Using a sharp knife, make diagonal cuts about 1/4 inch deep along the length of the hot dog.
- Space each cut about ½ inch apart, the scoring allows for more even cooking and creates crispy edges enhancing flavor and texture.
- Grill, Pan-fry or broil the hotdog as desired (should reach an internal temperature of 165° F even though hot dog is fully cooked)
- With a serrated bread knife carefully slice the bun lengthwise at the top. Do not slice too deep as the bun will fall apart but deep, enough that it holds the hot dog.
- Toast in the oven, toaster oven, or on grill until golden brown.
- Place the hotdog in a bun and add your favorite toppings.
- Serve and enjoy!
Cookie Dough
- Preheat your oven to 350 Degrees
- Arrange the cookie dough on a tray lined with parchment paper, or directly on a non-stick baking tray
- Allow at least 4" between pieces and 2" from the edges of the tray to provide enough space for them to spread out during baking
- Bake for 11-12 minutes. Cookies will have spread flat and developed a little bit of color.
- When the cookies are finished baking, they will be very soft and difficult to handle. Let cool on the baking tray till they become firm and are easy to handle.
- Once cooled, use a spatula to remove from the tray.
- Serve and enjoy!
