Mike Rozins founded The Bagel Emporium in 1983 on a mission to serve the absolute best bagels in Westchester County, located just north of New York City. More than 40 years, six locations, and 12 awards for the Best Bagel in Westchester by Westchester Magazine later, it’s safe to say that he achieved his goal.
Mike’s son Ryan runs the family business today, and he’s still making bagels in the classic, old-fashioned, New York style: the dough-making process takes more than 24 hours, and they’re hand-rolled, kettle-boiled, baked, and served warm at each location, which get lines out the door on a daily basis. From classics like everything and cinnamon-raisin to new flavors like Fruity Pebble, rainbow, and sun-dried tomato, these bagels are a true taste of New York, and now they’re shipping nationwide!
