More than 135 years ago, in 1885, Lockie Pearson and his wife, Emma, moved to Fort Valley and planted their first peach trees for the Pearson family. For five generations the Pearson family has farmed the red clay of Crawford County, Georgia for peaches and pecans. Farming has dramatically changed in the last century but Pearson Farm still counts good soil, hard work, and honest dealings as keys to its success and survival.
Now, Mary Pearson's famous and delicious baked treatsāusing their pecans and peachesāprovide even more ways to share the farm's bounty with family and friends. Mary's Kitchen uses only the freshest, highest quality ingredients with no additives or preservatives, and every recipe is cooked in small batches to ensure home baked taste.
