Jimmy Adrian and Jack Piper grew up together in Iowa, and bonded over their love of all things barbecue. They became seasoned BBQ experts, spending their spare time tracking down great ‘cue and judging barbecue competitions (and Jimmy spent time cooking at New Orleans' acclaimed Commander's Palace). In 2005, the duo took the obvious next step and opened up Jimmy Jack’s Rib Shack, which is today renowned as one of the very best BBQ joints in Iowa.
At Jimmy Jack’s, they’re smoking up their signature St. Louis-style ribs along with pulled pork, wings, brisket, and more, simply seasoned with a house spice rub and slow-smoked over hickory wood. It’s all slathered with a variety of wildly delicious sauces, including their flagship rich & tangy Original Sauce and sweet & smoky Cowboy Sauce.
