While studying at New York’s Institute of Culinary Education, Dana Pollack was drawn to French macarons for their beauty and delicate texture, but was surprised by how few flavors they’re traditionally available in. So in 2012 she took matters into her own hands and founded Dana’s Bakery, dedicated to crafting authentically French macarons, but in flavors inspired by All-American desserts and candy.
