Well before people started waiting 4+ hours in line for cookie dough at their store, and before the Mets chose to serve their dough at Citi Field, Cookie DŌ got its start in the family kitchen of DŌ founder Kristen Tomlan. With a love of baking from a very young age, cookies became a favorite creation allowing Kristen and her family to sample her favorite part of the cookie baking experience, the dough. Despite design school and a career as a design consultant, the joys of baking kept pulling Kristen back in until eventually DŌ was born. Relentlessly researching, testing and trying ingredients to perfect the recipes of her favorite cookie flavors, Kristen is on a mission to create the best cookie dough in the nation.
