Thinly sliced apples are tossed in brown sugar & spices and then drenched in browned butter before getting folded inside an old-fashioned pie dough, which is incredibly flaky and made with 100% butter (no shortening, etc.). Then it’s sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and baked dark to slightly caramelize.
